Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

**Title** Neonatal ICU Travel RN **Schedule** Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15 (36 hours) **Assignment Details** Contract Length: 13 weeks **Requirements** - Minimum 3 years’ NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 ICN - Ventilator experience required - Required Certs: BLS, NRP - EMR: Epic preferred **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates, including those who are premature or have surgical needs. - Monitor and assess patients in the NICU, documenting their condition and response to treatment. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and effectiveness. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans. - Provide education and support to families of neonates in the unit. **Compliance / Notes** - COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) - RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); all RTO must be pre-approved. Excessive RTO can lead to cancel/DNR. - Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. - Pre-start: Complete lab/testing within 48 hours of signing; complete necessary pre-start modules. - Travel pairs allowed (must be on different units and disclosed).
