Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Up to date resume with 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing, specifically with stroke stepdown experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Drivers license with address that matches demographics.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (can be obtained prior to start).
• NURSYS Report for licenses verification with ACTIVE state license & all active RN licenses.
• EMR experience with EPIC.
• Skills checklist matching specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical surgical stroke stepdown patients.
• Monitor patient condition and assess changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
