Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title** Medical-Surgical Oncology Nurse **Schedule** Nights (3x12 typical); Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts every other weekend **Assignment Details** Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week **Requirements** - 2 years of experience required - EPIC charting experience is required - Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Fire safety training - Preferred clinical skills: - Chemotherapy administration and monitoring basics - Accessing/managing ports, starting/maintaining IVs - Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation - PCA experience, isolation precautions/PPE, rapid response/code team use **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive care to medical, surgical, and oncology patients. - Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans as directed. - Administer medications and treatments, including chemotherapeutic agents. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system. - Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options. **Compliance / Notes** - Max 7 days of requested time off (RTO) without manager approval; no RTO allowed first week. - Parking: Free - Scrub color: Navy
