Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title** Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry **Schedule** - Shift Ratios: Days/Eves typically 5:1 (stretch 6–7); Nights typically 6–7:1 (stretch 8–10 if short) - Weekend Requirement: Every other week (EOW) **Requirements** - License: NY RN license required in hand - Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience - EMR: Experience with EPIC preferred **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmia identification and management. - Administer oxygen therapy and manage non-invasive airway techniques. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care and support services. - Perform peripheral line care and management, including phlebotomy and IV insertion. - Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: 16 hours - RTO Restriction: Will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract. - Must have active NY RN license for submission.
