Registered Nurse – Orthopedics

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P rotation. 36 and 48 hours available per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other week. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. No block scheduling.

Assignment Details

Contract Duration: 16 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 36-48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active NY RN license.
• NIH, AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years recent acute med surg, telemetry, neuro, and orthopedic experience.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the orthopedic unit.
• Monitor patient health and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist in patient assessments and create care plans.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately.
