Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title** Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele **Schedule** Nights - 12hr: 7P-7A 36 hours per week available 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend **Assignment Details** Contract Duration: 16 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week **Requirements** - Active NY RN license - AHA BLS certification - 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates - Charting: EPIC **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans. - Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Float to various med surg telemetry units as required. **Compliance / Notes** - Must be flexible according to the facility's schedule. - Required to float to other units if needed. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
