Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 hours per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other week, and at least 1 holiday per contract.

Assignment Details

Contract Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state.
• 2 years recent acute PCU and med surg/tele experience.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates.
• Must have recent experience with cardiac drips, ventilators, and acute BiPAP.
• NIH, AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Float to other units as necessary.
