About the role
**Title**
Telemetry Nurse – Medical-Surgical Nurse
**Schedule**
- Every other weekend required
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
**Assignment Details**
- 48 beds on the unit
- Floating may be required to sister facilities
**Requirements**
- Compact license required
- 2 years RN experience
- Telemetry/MS experience required
- Previous travel RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- Proficient in Epic
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry data
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with wound care and tracheostomy care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans
**Compliance / Notes**
- Must have a vehicle for assignment
- Floating to nearby facilities may occur
- Pre-approved time off: one (per posting)
- Compliance with floating policies is required
