About the role
**Title:** Registered Nurse – Neuro Telemetry
**Schedule:**
- Weekends required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:4, Weekends 1:5
- On-call: No
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 1 year recent RN experience
- License: Compact license required
- Required certification: BLS
- Experience with neuro-telemetry and stroke care, neurosurgical post-op care, telemetry monitoring, seizure management, and rapid response participation is preferred.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a neuro telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient conditions utilizing telemetry and recognize/manage dysrhythmias.
- Administer and manage care for patients with stroke, neurosurgical procedures, and seizure disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in emergency response teams as necessary.
**Compliance / Notes:**
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Dress code: Solid navy blue scrubs
