Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title** Oncology Registered Nurse – Med-Surg / Telemetry **Schedule** - Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating **Requirements** - RN with minimum 2 years Med-Surg/Telemetry experience - Acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty applied for - BLS certification required - Preferred: ONS Chemotherapy certification **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient oncology setting. - Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions. - Perform telemetry monitoring and manage dysrhythmias. - Conduct IV therapy, central line care, and blood product administration. - Support clinical trials and assist with special procedures like brachytherapy. - Ensure effective infection prevention and patient safety measures. **Compliance / Notes** - Urgent fingerprinting process required upon booking. - References: 2 professional references are required; at least 1 must be a manager or formal supervisor. - RN must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission. - Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only).
