Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title** Medical-Surgical Oncology Nurse **Schedule** - Shift: 12-hour Day/Night rotating contract **Assignment Details** - Beds: Approximately 48 total (24 PCU + 24 MS Tele) - Patient Care: High-acuity adult/geriatric population; occasional pediatric patients **Requirements** - License: RN must have valid state or compact license - Certifications: BCLS / Basic Life Support - Experience: 2 years inpatient nursing experience in acute care within the last 12 months **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide high-acuity medical-surgical care to oncology patients. - Monitor telemetry and recognize dysrhythmias. - Manage IV, PICC, and central line care. - Administer blood products and manage patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI). - Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed. **Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: Approximately 72 hours - Vaccines: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
