Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Cardiac Med/Tele **Schedule:** - Shift: NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A - 36 and 48 hours per week available - 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend **Assignment Details:** - Contract Duration: 16 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **Requirements:** - Active NY RN license - AHA BLS certification - 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide patient care in the Cardiac Medical and Telemetry unit. - Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, responding to changes as needed. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. - Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures. - Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system. **Compliance / Notes:** - Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. - Required to float to other units if needed. - Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
