**TITLE**
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
**SCHEDULE**
NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 hours per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.
**ASSIGNMENT DETAILS**
Contract Duration: 16 weeks.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Active NY RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
- Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/tele.
- Experience with EPIC charting.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in a medical/surgical setting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.
**COMPLIANCE / NOTES**
Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. No block scheduling.
