**Title**
Long Term Care Nurse
**Schedule**
Shift: Varied - including weekends and holidays
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed
**Requirements**
- Candidate must possess a valid state license by the start of the assignment.
- Must arrive for a health appointment prior to the start date.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Perform assessments and treatments for patients in a long-term care environment.
- Administer medications and manage documentation.
- Communicate pertinent information to the medical team.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes for patients.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Manage specialized care for Gastrostomy Tubes, Urinary Catheters, and other medical devices as necessary.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment.
