**Title**
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
**Schedule**
- Posted every 6 weeks
**Requirements**
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
- Current supervisory references
- Proof of required certifications upon submission
- Proof of current NURSYS
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience in a high-acuity, high-pace environment preferred (5+ years high-risk L&D experience)
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor & Delivery environment.
- Function as a baby nurse during delivery and provide immediate newborn care, including assessments and vitamin injections.
- Circulate for C-section procedures and manage various clinical scenarios such as neonatal resuscitation and hemorrhage management.
- Administer medications as per protocols, including magnesium sulfate and insulin drips.
- Conduct electronic fetal monitoring and manage vaginal deliveries and C-section recovery.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 key holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Floating between Postpartum/Antepartum may be required
