Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

**Title** Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery **Schedule** - Work every other weekend - Must be willing to work holidays as needed; contract requires commitment to work 3 of 5 listed holidays. **Assignment Details** - Contract Length: Not specified - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **Requirements** - 2 years of experience in high-acuity, high-paced environment is required. - 5 years of high-risk OB experience preferred; candidates with 3+ years high-risk experience will be considered. - Required certifications: BLS, NRP. - Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate. - Experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring is required. **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide high-risk labor and delivery bedside care. - Function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries and perform newborn care until transfer. - Circulate for C-sections. - Competent in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) using EPIC. - Administer management and common therapies including magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, heparin, and Pitocin. - Perform basic neonatal resuscitation as needed. **Compliance / Notes** - Compact license must be in hand at submission. - References required: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (charge RN/lead acceptable). - Must comply with floating policies to postpartum/antepartum and may float to other campuses. - Completion of pre-start modules expected.
