Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P NIGHT/DAY ROTATION. 36 and 48 hours per week available. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Assignment Details

Contract Duration: 16 weeks or longer. Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, C-efm fetal monitoring certifications
• 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
• Experience with EPIC and OBIX charting systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery
• Monitor the condition of patients throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding the labor and delivery process
• Assist with the delivery process and provide immediate post-delivery care
