**Registered Nurse – Acute Care** **Schedule:** Shift: 7p-7a, Friday, Saturday, Sunday **Assignment Details:** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 **Requirements:** - Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred. - Current Registration and Licensure in the state as an RN in good standing with the Board of Nursing. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification; new employees must certify within three months after hire date. - Current ACLS certification; new employees should obtain per guidelines of the Education Course Requirements policy. - Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred. - Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. - Basic computer knowledge. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and optimal patient outcomes. - Promote continuity of care through effective communication with the interdisciplinary team and family. - Direct the work of support staff in the provision of care. - Perform general nursing duties utilizing critical thinking skills with minimal supervision. - Conduct assessments across age-specific populations including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Demonstrate a high degree of empathetic listening skills and kindness toward others.
