**Title:** Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum
**Schedule:**
- Shift: Nights, 3x12
**Assignment Details:**
- Length: 26 weeks
**Requirements:**
- License: CA RN license required; pending license NOT accepted
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- NRP
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Patient ratio experience: 1:3
- Charting system: Epic (required)
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and postpartum settings.
- Monitor and assess maternal and newborn status during labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Facilitate vaginal deliveries and assist/circulate during cesarean sections.
- Conduct newborn assessments and implement resuscitation measures as needed.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
**Compliance / Notes:**
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.
- Travelers are first to float within their scope and may float to sister facilities.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 (must request upfront).
- Orientation: 40 hours.
