Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

**TITLE** Registered Nurse – Cardiac Special Procedures **SCHEDULE** Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS** Contract Length: 7 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 **REQUIREMENTS** - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required - Experience in critical care or medical-surgical, or experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure department: Preferred **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Observe, evaluate, and coordinate patient care in the Special Procedures department. - Participate in direct and indirect care activities according to organizational policies and procedures. - Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine care issues and diagnosis. - Develop and implement care plans, coordinating care delivery and promoting a safe environment. - Monitor and analyze patient health metrics, reporting changes to physicians as necessary. - Operate specialized medical equipment safely and effectively. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - Rotation of shifts may include variable start times. - Call schedule may include evenings and weekends. - Nurses may float to pre-op and post-op units. - Scrubs are provided onsite.
