Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion

**ROLE – SPECIALTY** Outpatient Infusion RN **SCHEDULE** Shift: 5x8 Days **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS** Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13 **REQUIREMENTS** - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemotherapy - Minimum Years of Experience: One in outpatient infusion - Patient Age Group: Adult, Geriatric - Technology: EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer - Common Equipment Used: Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Administer chemotherapy and other medications to patients in an outpatient setting. - Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic medical record system. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and side effects. - Facilitate blood product administration when necessary. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - Floating requirements may apply. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
