Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required
• Experience in an acute care facility: Preferred
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collects and analyzes relevant patient data.
• Develops and implements care plans to achieve patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
