Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

**Title** Neuro ICU RN – Adult **Schedule** Start date: 3–4 weeks out Shift hours: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week Ratios: 1:2 Weekend requirement: every other weekend **Assignment Details** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 3 shifts per week **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Minimum 2 years in a neuro setting - Trauma Level I experience required - ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required - Dysrhythmia interpretation/management competency required - Experience with vasoactive/cardiac drip titration, arterial & central line management, ICP monitoring, and neurotrauma/post-neurosurgery care preferred **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to neurocritical patients. - Monitor and manage patient conditions, including administering medications and treatments. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and families on care processes and treatments. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. **Compliance / Notes** - COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required - No RTO allowed the first week of assignment - Monthly parking passes available; details provided during orientation
