Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Collect and analyze relevant data pertaining to patient health and care issues.
• Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
• Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
