Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 48 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Active RN license in a compact state or the state of practice
• At least 2-3 years of ICU experience, with a preference for CVICU experience
• Current RN Skills Checklist matching the specialty
• EMR experience preferred, Cerner experience is a plus
• Travelers may float to other units, including ED, Stepdown, and Med Surg
• Experience with equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
