Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

**Title** Neuro ICU Travel Nurse – Neuro Intensive Care Unit **Schedule** 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Rotation: Day/Night rotation every 4 weeks Weekends: Every other weekend **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience - Travel experience required - Preferred: Trauma Level I experience - Required certifications: BCLS/BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only) - Experience with ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, SAH, seizures, neuromuscular disease, post-op neurosurgery, TBI, spinal cord injury - Experience with ventilator management, ICP/EVD monitoring, central/arterial line management **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide high-quality care to adult patients in the Neuro ICU. - Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions including strokes and traumatic brain injuries. - Administer medications and IV therapies, including vasoactive drips and continuous sedation. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and document care in the electronic health record system. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in patient management. **Compliance / Notes** - Urgent fingerprinting required immediately after booking. - References: 2 professional references required; at least one must be a manager/director. - RTO required with submission; local candidates accepted at the same rate. - Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
