Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Shifts are 3x12 hours from 15:00 to 03:30. Weekend shifts may be required as needed.

Assignment Details

The contract is for a minimum of 10 weeks. Guaranteed hours are based on a contract of 36, 40, or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required; 1.5 years may be considered for applicants with Level I Trauma experience.
• Active NM license can be pending at the time of submission.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH preferred (can pend until compliance due date).
• No locals accepted within 100 miles.
• COVID vaccine is optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for admitted patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and document clinical findings.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in high-pressure situations.
• Participate in a collaborative care environment, supporting other team members as needed.
• Float between departments as necessary, with optional floating to Peds ED and expected floating to Adult PCUs.

Compliance / Notes

Travelers must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & following day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day). RTO greater than 7 days requires approval. Orientation and other specific compliance details will be provided upon acceptance of an assignment.
