Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, 18:45 - 07:15. Will accept 36 or 48 hour contracts. Weekend coverage required - 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Must be willing to work holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13-26 weeks. Float required as needed. No call required. Ratio: 1:6.

Requirements

• 2 years of cardiac experience required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• MS/Tele/Step down experience preferred.
• First time travelers accepted with the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various cardiac conditions including Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, and others.
• Monitor patient vitals and read EKGs.
• Assist with special procedures and care following cardiac surgeries.
• Implement and follow care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families on health management and outcomes.

Orientation: 24 hours. Dress code: Navy blue pants & white top. Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
