Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30); every other or every third weekend required.

Assignment Details

Float required; 36 hours of orientation provided.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications
• Ohio RN license required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and stroke/stemi-certified facility preferred
• Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continually, adjusting care as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans.
