Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Float

Schedule

Night shift, 12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15. Every other weekend required. Must be able to work holidays.

Assignment Details

36 and 48 hour contracts accepted. Longer contracts through 2/27/2027 are also available. A maximum of 7 days of RTO is allowed per contract.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• BLS & NIHSS certification required.
• CPI certification preferred.
• Experience in MS/Tele and ED holding required.
• Travel experience required.
• Must be able to keep up with fast-paced unit and 1:6-7 ratios.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in a mixed unit with both medical/surgical adult diagnoses and potentially PCU level patients.
• Expected to take MS/Tele cases as well as float to ED and MedSurg areas as needed.
• Participate in emergency situations, including potential assignments as part of designated response teams.
• Utilize standard equipment, including cardiac monitors and IV pumps.

Compliance / Notes

Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Orientation consists of a 12-hour session.
