Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekends required; Saturday 0600-Monday 0600, once per month.

Assignment Details

Must have a vehicle for this assignment. On-call required for responding to cardiac emergencies. Position is not expected to float between units. Orientation is reduced compared to standard.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license required.
• Experience in CVOR, with strong preference for prior scrub experience.
• Must be able to float to other units and facilities based on skill set.
• No contracts longer than 12 weeks.
• Must respond to on-call cardiac emergencies.
• Charting experience with Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a surgical setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular surgeries.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans.
