Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Float required when census warrants.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and starting IVs
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Ratios: 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels
• Must be able to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Administer emergency medications and IV vasopressors
• Conduct procedural sedation and manage CVA patients
• Follow isolation precautions
