Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Assignment Details

Open to accommodating block schedules, but not guaranteed. Every other weekend required.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
• Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with emergency medications and IV vasopressors
• Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Conduct procedural sedation and continuous IV sedation
• Implement isolation precautions as necessary
