Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Must live 75 miles away from the facility for travel positions (locals are accepted)
• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with some pediatrics experience
• Travel experience is required
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Active nursing license verification
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• RTO must be included at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to assigned patients, including specialized nursing care in high-acuity situations
• Utilize clinical judgment in the assessment and treatment of patients with various medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications and monitor patients according to established protocols
• Assist in trauma cases and participate in emergency response activities
• Document care provided and patient interactions accurately and timely
