Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Acute Care **Schedule:** Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 **Requirements:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required - Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor required - Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required - At least two years of recent experience in the field preferred - Epic experience required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. - Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. - Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. - Collect and analyze assessment data to determine care issues. - Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans to promote health and ensure safety. - Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to provide patient care in a safe and caring environment. **Compliance / Notes:** - All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
