Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**TITLE:** Registered Nurse – Emergency Observation **SCHEDULE:** - Shift: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A - 36 hours per week - One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend - Must work at least 1 holiday per contract **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:** - Contract Duration: 16 weeks **REQUIREMENTS:** - Active NY RN license - NIH, AHA BLS and PALS certifications - 2 years of recent experience - 2 years of U.S. work history required for non U.S. candidates - Experience with EPIC EMR **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Assess and monitor patients in an observation unit - Provide direct patient care and ensure comfort - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans - Document patient care and progress accurately and timely - Assist with ED boarder patients awaiting admission **COMPLIANCE / NOTES:** - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - Rotating blocked schedule can be requested; fixed block schedule must be Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon.
