Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Nursing **Schedule:** Nights 10a-10p **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week **Requirements:** - Current RN license in Maine or compact - BSN preferred - Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred - Immunizations: Varicella (2 doses or titer), HepB (3 doses or titer or declination), MMR (2 doses or titer), Tdap, PPD (2 step or titer within the past 12 months) - Flu shot required during flu season **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments. - Develop and implement plans of care based on patient needs and physician orders. - Communicate patient care activities to healthcare team members and document activities in accordance with established standards and policies. - Administer medications correctly and evaluate patient responses. - Provide patient and family education and complete discharge planning. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness planning. **Compliance / Notes:** - Traveler will report to Human Resources on day 1 for onboarding. - Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
