**Title:** Registered Nurse – Acute Care **Schedule:** Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Assignment Details:** Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 **Requirements:** - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Required - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA-PALS): Required - Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM): Required - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required - At least two years recent experience in field: Required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. - Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines. - Collect and analyze relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situations, determining diagnosis and care issues. - Develop and implement care plans, employing strategies to promote health and safety. - Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to ensure safe, effective care. - Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
