Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Emergency Department **Schedule:** 12-hour nights **Assignment Details:** 14 weeks **Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience - Minimum 1 year of travel experience - Current/ongoing acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty - EPIC charting experience required - BLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department setting. - Assess and monitor patients, performing necessary interventions and treatments. - Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create effective care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation utilizing EPIC. - Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care and support. **Compliance / Notes:** - Orientation: 76 hours - Weekend coverage: As needed - Request Time Off must be submitted with application; facility may grant 7 consecutive days off for a 14-week contract. - Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after booking; delays may affect contract status. - Current employees are ineligible for traveler roles; former employees eligible if away = 6 months. - Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only.
