Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title** Registered Nurse – Emergency Department **Schedule** - Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week - Weekends: Every other weekend - Holidays: Travelers are expected to work major holidays as specified **Assignment Details** - Contract length: Not specified - Patient volume: Approximately 165–175 patients per day **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years RN experience required (first-time travelers not accepted) - Travel experience required - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required - Epic EMR experience required - Preferred: Charge experience, TNCC, SANE **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide high-acuity emergency care for patients of all ages, including neonates and geriatrics - Perform airway management and care for ventilated patients - Manage cardiac patients, including ECG and STEMI care - Conduct neuro assessments and care for stroke patients - Administer IV medications and blood products as needed - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care **Compliance / Notes** - Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing - All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start - Full compliance required to start; delayed start if not compliant - Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
