Registered Nurse (RN) - EP Lab

**TITLE** Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab **REQUIREMENTS** - Valid nursing license - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS - 1-2 years of experience in a relevant setting - Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record system - Must have expertise in phlebotomy and IV insertion/maintenance - Skills in cardiac ablation, mapping, conduction studies, cardioversion, pacemaker/AICD insertion and programming, sheath removal, monitoring, and use of Micropace system **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatric patients in an electrophysiology lab setting - Perform and assist with electrophysiology procedures such as ablations, mapping, and cardioversion - Administer IV medications, monitor patient vital signs, and ensure patient safety during procedures - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using a designated electronic medical record system **COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - Orientation: 40 hours - Scrubs provided by the facility - No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
