Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

**TITLE:** Travel CVOR RN **SCHEDULE:** - On-call: Yes — assigned per unit need - Weekends: One call weekend per month **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:** - Contract Length: Not specified - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **REQUIREMENTS:** - Minimum years of RN experience: 2 years - Travel experience: Required - Required certification: BLS - Experience with cardiac procedures: CABG, valve procedures, aortic aneurysm repair, MAZE, pericardial window - Familiarity with cardiac support devices: IABP, LVAD/RVAD, femoral cannulation - Cardiac monitoring, administration of blood/blood products, universal protocol (time out) - Sterile technique, specimen handling/labeling, electrosurgical units **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Provide direct nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room. - Assist with surgical procedures and manage patient care before, during, and after procedures. - Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition. - Participate in pre-operative and post-operative planning and care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES:** - Background checks and standard travel compliance apply. - Mileage/reimbursement may apply for facility floats. - Candidates should coordinate through the recruiter for submissions and inquiries.
