**Title**
ICU Nurse - CVICU
**Schedule**
Shift: Nights
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Valid nursing license (OK or Compact)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Core clinical skills:
- Care of ventilated patients, ventilator management
- Arterial/central line/PICC management
- Titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips
- CRRT/CVVHD experience
- Blood product administration
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Chest tube assistance, sheath removal, procedural sedation monitoring
- IV starts/maintenance, IV insulin protocols
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide critical care nursing to cardiac surgical and medical patients.
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients, ensuring respiratory stability.
- Administer medications and titrate drips as per protocol.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Participate in patient education and support to families.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Requested time off (RTO) must be listed at the time of submittal.
- Orientation/modules: Completed onsite during orientation; RN modules average 4–6 hours.
