Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections

**TITLE** RN – Addictions Medicine **SCHEDULE** - Shift Length: 12-hour shifts - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS** - Contract Length: Minimum 10 weeks **REQUIREMENTS** - Experience: 1 year of clinical experience required; previous charge experience preferred - Corrections experience required unless exceptions apply - Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; MOAB (facility will provide training); EKG testing (pass/fail, 2 tries max) - EMR: Experience with Cerner preferred - Unit-specific skills: CIWA/detox assessments, medication administration including MOUD, IV starts/maintenance, basic dysrhythmia recognition, oxygen/airway support, phlebotomy, wound care **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Conduct medication passes including Suboxone and Methadone - Perform detox rounds and CIWA assessments - Monitor patients during induction processes - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care **COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - Background check required; must pass facility background check - Drug screen required within 30 days of start - Documentation due 10 days prior to start - RTO/Time-off policy: Max 7 days preferred; no RTO during the first 7 days or last day of contract; pre-approved time off: one. - Scrub Color: Black
