Registered Nurse (RN) - CCU

**Title:** Critical Care RN - ICU Float Pool **Schedule:** 3x12s Nights **Assignment Details:** - Contract requirement: Extend through January 2, 2027. - Weekend coverage required: Minimum every-other-weekend. **Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience. - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. - Proficiency with Epic charting system required. - Travel nursing experience strongly preferred. - Core clinical skills: IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, management of central lines/arterial lines, titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips, ABG interpretation, care for post-cardiac surgery patients, blood product administration, neuro monitoring (EVD, NIHSS), temp pacer familiarity. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Monitor and assess patient status, adjusting care plans as necessary. - Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed. - Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans. **Compliance / Notes:** - Fingerprinting required prior to start; strict compliance deadline of one week prior. - References: Two professional references required, with at least one being a manager/director or formal supervisor. - Employees of the facility are ineligible; former employees eligible after 6+ months away. - Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
