Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Schedule

12H Night shift. Travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 14 weeks. Guaranteed hours: To be determined.

Requirements

• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• CCRN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large teaching facility (500+ bed count) required
• Prior travel experience required
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required
• Experience with multi-system disease, CRRT, IABP, ECMO, ventilation, and managing multiple titrating drips

Responsibilities

• Float within the central pool ICU, primarily in Medical ICU, overflow neuro, and required to float to SICU
• Start IVs, maintain and manage multiple titrating drips
• Provide critical care and vent management
• Must be flexible with scheduling and floating to areas outside of the candidate's POD
• Assist in patient care, meeting unit and patient needs
