Registered Nurse – PCU

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedules (19:00 - 07:30).

Assignment Details

16-week contract.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of PCU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required.
• ONS Chemo certification preferred.
• Experience with computerized charting systems, specifically EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for both PCU and Med Surg patients in a mixed acuity unit.
• Perform chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, and IV antibiotics.
• Manage oncologic emergencies and related patient care needs.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and fall prevention strategies.
• Monitor and manage heparin and insulin drips.
