Registered Nurse – Ortho Trauma/General Surgery

Schedule

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Assignment Details

Contracts: 36 or 48 hours per week, longer contracts of 13-26 weeks accepted. Floating to similar units required. Every other weekend required. No call.

Requirements

• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Ortho/Neuro/Trauma experience required
• 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Charge experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with severe injuries to bones, joints, and soft tissue.
• Assist in the management of traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, and neurological trauma.
• Monitor patients and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record system.
