Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (06:00 - 18:30).

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week. Facility may call off up to 3 times during the assignment.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required, including Level 1 trauma and telemetry experience.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS.
• No locals within a 100-mile radius.
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles.
• Pending license accepted.
• On-call requirement: 1-2 overnight call shifts monthly.

Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care to patients recovering from surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain control protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in the coordination of pre/post-procedural care.
• Float to the Holding area as needed, adhering to patient ratios.
