Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule

12-hour shifts, variable days from Sunday to Saturday, with potential on-call hours.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours may be adjusted, as the facility can call off staff once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• 2 years of nursing experience required; 3 years preferred, particularly in surgical procedures.
• Current ACLS (preferred) and BCLS certifications.
• On-call requirements are included.
• No pending licenses accepted.
• Limited radius of 50 miles for local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and effective outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgical procedures.
• Assist with surgical preparations and post-operative care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
